OGUN STATE OVERVIEW:

Ogun is a state in south western Nigeria. formed in 1976 from the old weestern region of nigeria, Abeokuta is the capital and biggest city in the state. The different urban areas and towns in Ogun State includes Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, Ijebu Igbo, Ilaro Ayetoro and Ota. The state government operates a 6-3-3-4 educational systems in its public schools like other states in Nigeria and has many post-secondary schools, universities and other vocational institutions that are either operated by the government or private entities.
